Summary of how we handle account and usage data in the JobOrc private beta.

Last updated: 13 September 2026

1. Who we are

JobOrc ("we") operates a background-job platform. Contact: dev.jangramanish@gmail.com.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data — email, name, password hash, session tokens
  • Organization data — org/project names, memberships, API key metadata
  • Job data — payloads, logs, and telemetry you enqueue (treated as customer content)
  • Billing data — subscription state via Paddle (sandbox or live); we do not store full card numbers
  • Technical logs — IP, user-agent, request identifiers for security and debugging

3. How we use data

We use data to authenticate you, run the Service, send transactional email (verification, magic links, password reset), enforce quotas, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal data.

4. Processors

Depending on deployment: cloud host, Postgres/Redis/object storage, SMTP provider, and Paddle for payments. Design partners should confirm the processor list for their environment with us.

5. Retention

Account and job data are retained while your account is active and for a limited period afterward for backups and dispute handling. You may request deletion via Contact.

6. Security

We use TLS in transit (on staging/production hosts), hashed passwords, scoped API keys, and tenant isolation on job data. No method of transmission is 100% secure.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data. Email dev.jangramanish@gmail.com.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change. Material changes during beta will be called out in release notes when practical.
